Glazing Estimator / Project Manager Company Description New Orleans based manufacturer and installer of commercial glass/glazing systems including curtain walls, storefronts, and specialty glass seeks Estimator / Project Manager in their New Orleans office to support the greater New Orleans region. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimator / Project Manager at our location in New Orleans, LA. The Estimator / Project Manager will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for projects involving curtain walls, storefronts, and specialty glass installations, typically in the range of $100K - $5M. Daily tasks include analyzing architectural drawings and specifications, collaborating with clients and internal teams, developing estimates, submitting detailed project proposals on-time, and selling our capabilities to the marketplace. As a Project Manager, candidate will be expected to achieve project success through job profitability, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction. The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure projects remain within scope and budget. Qualifications Proficiency in takeoff, cost estimation, and bid preparation for projects ranging from $100k to $5M Knowledge of construction practices, materials, and industry standards Effective communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams including project managers and glaziers Proven experience in commercial glass and glazing estimation. Familiarity with glazing specific takeoff and estimation software desirable A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
