Job Opportunity – Critical Care Nurse (ICU) – Michigan

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Bay City, Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Rotating shifts (days and nights available); every other weekend required. No on-call requirements.

• Comprehensive discharge planning and patient education integration across the care continuum
• Exposure to neurosurgical and open heart patient populations preferred

Requirements:

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications required
• Current NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required
• Willingness and ability to float to Emergency Department and Step-Down units
• Additional certifications such as TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, or SCRN are highly valued
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Neurosurgical and open heart experience preferred

The facility maintains a strict attendance policy to ensure optimal patient care and staffing coverage. Contractors are expected to fulfill all scheduled shifts in their entirety. Absences, late arrivals (more than 20 minutes), or early departures without prior authorization may result in disciplinary action. Extenuating circumstances with appropriate documentation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
