Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Operate nationwide dry-van routes for HMD Trucking from the New Britain, CT area, delivering consistent service on long-haul lanes. You’ll run late-model company tractors maintained by an in-house team, focusing on safe driving practices and timely deliveries.

Primary duties:

• Safely drive tractor-trailer combinations on OTR routes and secure cargo per company standards.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and keep accurate ELD logs and delivery paperwork.
• Coordinate with dispatch regarding routing, delivery windows, and equipment needs.

Requirements:

• Must hold a CDL-A and have a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience.
