We serve as South Florida's leading substance use treatment center, utilizing a combination of evidence-based practices and holistic methods to provide an individualized recovery experience that is tailored to each patient's unique situation. Join Our Team The Nurse is responsible for all Nursing related services for each patient and for linking patients to the physicians and to outside medical resources. He/She participates in the Interdisciplinary Team Meetings when necessary to inform the clinical team about medical issues and is available for emergency medical situations. The Nurse is responsible to provide medical & history screens, providing routine nursing care and overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician. Requirements Behavioral Health / Substance Use experience (preferred) Valid Nursing License in FL Responsibilities Identify patients care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support Resolve or report on patients needs or problems Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse, blood pressure and temperature, provide drugs and injections etc) Monitor and record patients condition and document provided care services Treat medical emergencies Administer workloads Follow care regulations and standards Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team Performs other duties assigned.
