Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, needs a flexible schedule, works well independently, and values being part of a supportive and collaborative team.


Schedule:

• Approximately 2 days per week
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

What We're Looking For

• Current LVT license
• Previous clinical veterinary experience required
• Strong technical and patient care skills
• Ability to adapt and stay flexible when priorities shift throughout the day
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills with both clients and coworkers
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Patient nursing care and monitoring
• Laboratory sample collection and processing
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
• Radiology and diagnostic imaging assistance
• Medical record documentation
• Supporting doctors and fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care

Compensation

• Base hourly rate of $22.00 - $27.00 DOE
