Avir at Burnet is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our patients by providing exceptional support to our dietary department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, delivery, and serving to patients and residents
- Maintain a clean and organized dietary department, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
- Monitor and report any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or special requests to the dietary team
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and receiving of food and supplies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dietary setting or related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
