ServiceNow Developer Job Requirements

Experience: 4 6 years

Must-Have Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
• Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM
• Hands-on experience with Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience developing Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Script Includes
• Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
• Experience creating and consuming REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations
• Knowledge of Glide API
• Experience with ServiceNow data imports and Transform Maps
• Good understanding of ServiceNow security, roles, ACLs, and user administration

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• ServiceNow ITOM experience
• ServiceNow CMDB experience
• Experience with Discovery
• ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Configure and maintain ITSM workflows.
• Develop scripts using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
• Build integrations between ServiceNow and external applications.
• Create and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support.
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred.
