Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Hours: 36 hours/week

Job Summary

The Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and close observation. The RN assesses patient conditions, monitors vital signs and cardiac rhythms, administers medications and treatments, and collaborates with the healthcare team to provide safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and the care team.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care.
• Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
• Float to appropriate units as assigned based on facility needs.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients.

Requirements

• Active California RN license.
• Telemetry or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills.
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift.
• Flexibility to work within the float pool as needed.
