Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients on the medical-surgical telemetry unit
- Monitor cardiac telemetry, interpret rhythms, identify dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to rhythm changes
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects and document responses
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record and contribute to care planning and handoffs
- Collaborate with the charge nurse, physicians, and interprofessional team; participate in unit-based rounds and patient safety initiatives
- Maintain competency while floating to similar units and overflow areas; uphold patient safety and quality of care during night shifts

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (Massachusetts) in good standing
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg Telemetry experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Telemetry competency exam requirement: pass Telemetry/ECG and Medications tests during onboarding
• One attempt only to pass, with an 85% minimum score
• Tests administered by the client via Zoom prior to assignment; must test within 48 hours of offer
- Ability and willingness to float to other units and work weekends/holidays; nights required
- Demonstrated ongoing professional development and familiarity with Critical Paths; charge nurse experience preferred
