MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
- Assist in the restoration of files, profiles, and mailboxes using backup applications NetBackup, Avamar, and Commvault
- Willing to work in Data Center to facilitate tape movements for data restores
- Assist customers with file management, profile standards, and e-mail organization
- Profile and permission structure knowledge
- Resolution and ticket handling awareness to align to SLA obtainment
- Develops, manages and tests backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability
- Develops and maintains disaster recovery plans for critical systems and services
- Participates in disaster recover drills and business continuity planning
- Maintains detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes
- Creates reports on system performance, security incidents, and other key metrics
- Coordinates with other IT teams to ensure coordinated delivery of IT services
- Provides recommendations for system improvements based on analysis and industry best practices
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
- Experience: 5+ years of related experience
- Technical skills: Critical thinker, Quick Learner, Detail Oriented, and Organizational skills.
- Ability to work well independently, Verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, and technical support skills.
- Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
- US citizenship required
- Role requirements: Provides support to end users and other IT staff by resolving complex hardware, software, and system related issues. Must be 8570 compliant with a Security+ Certification
