Role Title Field Engineer Reports To Senior Field Engineer Job Type Full‑time Regular Location Helvetia, AZ (Copper World Project, approximately 45 minutes southwest of Tucson) Purpose Of Role Reporting to the Senior Field Engineer, the Field Engineer will assist the project by running projects to support the site and collaborate with various professionals from different departments. Role Accountabilities Support the senior field engineer with feasibility study by critically assessing the technical and financial aspects of the project. Independently perform routine work such as collaborating with consultants and contractors, identifying hazards, conducting site inspections and reports, and coordinating with staff and consultants. Manage site projects and collaborate with various groups to execute successful projects. Perform field explorations, collect samples, conduct geologic reconnaissance, and mapping. QA/QC data collection at site. Read technical reports and provide summaries of the contents. Complete workplace examinations identifying safety hazards. Assist with planning for hydrology and geotechnical data acquisition in support of the feasibility study. Minimum Qualifications And Education Bachelor of Engineering or Science in Mining, Civil, Geological, Geotechnical, Hydrology or related engineering/science discipline, or equivalent work experience. Previous experience managing projects, supporting site activities, installing piezometers and borehole testing. Proficiency with MS Office, related software, and computers. Ability to travel to and from sites. Strong communication and team skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience at a mine site. Experience with monitoring platforms, MinePlan, Propeller and other related software.
