Accounting Clerk

Across our Shelf Life Solutions, Aroma Products, Health & Wellness, and Performance Chemicals platforms, we bring science to everyday life. About the Role We’re looking for an Accounting Clerk to support the day-to-day accounting work of our North American business. You’ll process vendor invoices and payments, review employee expense reports, maintain accurate records, and support the Regional Controller with reporting and close activities. This role offers opportunities to expand your accounting skills, take on new responsibilities, and grow within the finance team. What You’ll Do Process vendor invoices accurately and on time. Review employee expense reports for accuracy. Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and other vendor payments. Reconcile vendor statements and help resolve invoice discrepancies. Compile data for accounting metrics and reporting. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Assist the Regional Controller with financial reporting, analysis, and audit requests. Respond to requests for accounting documentation and data. Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation. Cross-train in other accounting functions. What You Bring An associate degree in accounting and/or 2–5 years of accounting clerk experience in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and internal controls. Strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies. The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Professional communication skills and sound judgment when handling confidential financial information. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word, plus Excel skills that include data filtering and troubleshooting basic formulas. An interest in learning and taking on additional accounting responsibilities. Preferred: Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system and accounts payable experience in manufacturing.
