Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 4 years RN OR experience required License: Oklahoma State License Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) Must-Have: General, orthopedic, and neurological experience required; CVOR experience preferred Description: Operating Room Nurses are responsible for taking care of patients throughout the process of a surgery or medical procedure. They ensure patients are prepared or recovering by providing information on the outcomes or potential outcomes of a procedure. Candidates can expect outreach via phone and text within two hours regarding their application status. Decisions are typically made the same day or by the next business day. Applicants who are seeking more than 7 days off or more than 50% of holidays off may face a different processing timeline. 1-2 weekend days of call will be required per 13-week period.
