Job Title

Registered Nurse – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating and scrub roles during cardiac surgical procedures
• Assist with coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and endoscopic vessel harvesting (EVH)
• Support chest closure, thoracoscopy, and wedge resection procedures
• Assist with aortic and mitral valve surgical cases
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment throughout all cardiovascular OR cases

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse license
• Hands-on experience in both circulating and scrub roles in a cardiac OR setting
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac surgical procedures including CABG, EVH, chest closure, thoracoscopy, wedge resection, and aortic and mitral valve surgeries

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume cardiovascular surgical environment
• Strong ability to adapt across multiple cardiac surgical specialties within the OR
