Job Title: General Manager (Roofing Operations) Location: Charlotte, NC Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 base + performance bonus + additional earnings potential Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision | Company Truck or Vehicle Allowance | PTO About the Opportunity We are partnering with a fast-growing roofing company in the Charlotte market seeking a General Manager to lead operations, build scalable systems, and drive the next phase of growth. This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity for someone who wants to build, scale, and run a business like it’s their own. The company is projected to grow in revenue and is positioned for rapid expansion. If you are an experienced roofing leader with a strong operational mindset—and ideally some sales experience—this role offers both impact and upside. What You’ll Do Operational Leadership Lead day-to-day roofing operations including production, scheduling, and project execution Build and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive efficiency and consistency Oversee labor productivity, quality control, and job profitability Manage and develop field teams, supervisors, and future project managers Growth & Strategy Partner with ownership to scale both residential and commercial roofing operations Help identify and pursue new revenue opportunities Build infrastructure to support rapid growth Sales & Revenue Contribution (Bonus Opportunity) Contribute to residential roofing sales (huge plus) Help build and implement a sales training program Support both inbound and outbound revenue strategies Safety & Compliance Establish and lead a strong safety-first culture Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and jobsite safety protocols Implement training and inspection programs Technology & Reporting Utilize systems for project tracking, scheduling, and reporting Monitor KPIs including revenue, profitability, and job performance Team Leadership & Culture Lead and develop production and sales teams Foster a high-accountability, no-drama culture Build a team focused on growth, ownership, and continuous improvement What We’re Looking For Required: 5+ years of roofing industry experience Strong background in roofing operations, production, or project management Experience managing crews, multiple jobs, or field teams Knowledge of residential and/or commercial roofing systems Familiarity with OSHA safety standards Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Preferred: Residential roofing sales experience Experience with P&L management or budgeting Background in building systems, SOPs, or operational processes Experience scaling a growing company or division Ideal Candidate Profile Builder mindset – wants to create, improve, and scale Entrepreneurial – thinks like an owner Operationally disciplined and process-driven Sales-aware (or sales-capable) Passionate about developing people and building strong teams Compensation & Perks Base Salary: $90K – $100K (flexible for top candidates) Bonus: Bonus potential based on company performance (revenue & profitability) Vehicle: Company truck or allowance Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Why This Role?
