Lead Preschool Teacher (2025-2026 School Year) Position Start Date: Summer 2025 (training and preparation) Join our dynamic team at Small Wonders Preschool and help inspire the next generation of learners in a nurturing, Christian preschool environment. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a creative, engaging, and loving learning atmosphere for our students. You will have the opportunity to implement age-appropriate lesson plans, assess student progress, and collaborate closely with parents and colleagues—all while sharing the love of Jesus. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated educator who has a heart for early childhood education. Responsibilities Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Create a fun and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and spiritual growth. Assess and monitor student progress through informal and formal observations and assessments. Foster strong relationships with parents through regular communication and updates on their child’s progress. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a positive, supportive work environment. Share Christian values with students and families in line with the mission of the school. Qualifications A degree in Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred. DCF (Department of Children and Families) Certification is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for working with young children and creating a fun, enriching educational experience. Ability to foster a loving, Christian environment for children and families.
