The AHW portfolio contains a collection of development, CR&D, and IR&D programs servicing a broad customer base spanning the major services and research labs. We are seeking an Associate Director to serve as Capture and Proposal Manager for the portfolio reporting directly to the Senior Director.This role is onsite located in Tucson, Arizona and requires frequent travel.What You Will Do Work closely with Sr Director and integrated functional teams to develop new business capture strategies and then lead the capture and management of the resulting projects.Lead the development of proposal responses for the portfolio.Engage with senior customers and key suppliers to develop proposal strategies.Responsible for management of portfolio capture and demonstration efforts.Travel frequently for customer engagements.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experienceProposal development experienceExperience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule(IMS), Risk andOpportunity Management, Scope Board, or similar business processesExperience leading cross-functional teams including, but not limited to: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, and/or Manufacturing/OperationsAn active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access and Top Secret after startQualifications We PreferProgram Management Level 3 Certification or ability to obtain within 1 yearExperience leading and developing quick turn (<30day) government Requests for Information and Rough Order of Magnitude estimatesDemonstrated success creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships withsuppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peersFamiliarity with Long Range Planning development in conjunction with customer requirementsExperience with contract negotiations and executions with varying contract types (IDIQ, OTA, etc.)Experience leading missile development activitiesExperience integrating systems on airborne, land-based, and/or sea-based platformsExperience with missile whole life considerations including but not limited to system safety and logisticsWell-organized with the ability to prioritize and manage a high-mix workloadFamiliarity with government acquisition processActive Top Secret U.S. government security clearanceWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
