Registered Nurse (RN) – Radiology Full Time Day Req #: 0000253290 | Status: Full‑Time | Shift: Day | Facility: Jersey City Medical Center | Department: Radiology – RN’s | Pay Range: $47.85 – $67.04 per hour | Location: 355 Grand Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302 Job Overview Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff in the Radiology Department, implementing the hospital’s mission and goals through established policies, procedures, and performance improvement activities. Qualifications Required: ADN, strong communication and organizational skills, proficient computer skills, excellent customer service skills. Preferred: BSN, interventional radiology experience, critical care experience. Certifications and Licenses Required BLS from the American Heart Association Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement ACLS Vascular Access Certification Scheduling Requirements Day Shift, 40 hrs Full Time, Monday – Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation On Call requirement Essential Functions The Professional Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing the hospital’s mission and goals, providing individualized patient care, maintaining documentation and statistical data, developing and implementing clinical pathways, measuring outcomes, and serving as a resource, role model, and mentor within the Interventional Radiology Department. Other Duties Administer patient care for diagnostic and interventional procedures, use assessment techniques, teach and evaluate patients, document responses, participate in quality improvement activities, and apply principles of growth and development to assess patient needs.
