Automotive Sales ConsultantSt. George Auto Gallery — St. George, Utah

Full-Time | Commission-Based | Approximately 80–100 Vehicles in Inventory

St. George Auto Gallery is looking for a motivated Automotive Sales Consultant who wants the opportunity to sell, earn, and advance without getting lost inside a massive corporate dealership.

We are an established, locally owned used-car dealership selling approximately 40–60 vehicles per month . We intentionally maintain a smaller sales team, giving each consultant a real opportunity to work customers, receive leads, build repeat business, and earn based on performance.

This is not an order-taking position. We want someone who can connect with customers, follow up consistently, handle objections, and ask for the sale. In return, we provide a strong inventory selection, incoming opportunities, hands-on training, and management support when it’s time to structure and close the deal.

Compensation and Opportunity

• Flat Commission-based plus Volume Bonuses

• Additional compensation terms reviewed during the interview

• Earnings increase directly with performance

• Approximately 80–100 vehicles available for sale

• Smaller sales floor with less competition for leads and customers

There is no artificial earnings ceiling. Your income will depend on your ability to generate appointments, follow up, sell vehicles, and produce consistent results.

What You’ll Do

• Respond quickly and professionally to internet, phone, and walk-in customers

• Ask the right questions to understand each customer’s needs, budget, and priorities

• Help customers select vehicles and conduct professional demonstrations and test drives

• Guide customers through the complete sales process from first contact through delivery

• Follow up consistently using phone, text, email, and our CRM

• Learn our inventory, pricing, vehicle features, and available financing options

• Handle objections and work with management to structure and close deals

• Follow up after the sale to generate referrals and repeat business

• Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up activity in the CRM

• Meet individual goals for appointments, follow-up, sales, and customer satisfaction

Who We’re Looking For

• Competitive, dependable, and motivated by financial results

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Comfortable speaking with customers in person, over the phone, and through text

• Able to follow a proven process while still communicating naturally

• Organized enough to manage multiple customers and leads without constant supervision

• Coachable and willing to participate in training and sales roleplay

• Professional appearance and reliable attendance

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• Available to work the dealership’s scheduled hours, including Saturdays

Previous automotive sales experience is preferred, but it is not required. Experience in retail sales, service writing, real estate, powersports, hospitality, phone sales, or another performance-based position may translate well.

We would rather train a driven person with excellent communication skills than hire an experienced salesperson with bad habits, weak follow-up, or no work ethic.
