HVAC Service Technician

Job Overview Field‑based HVAC Service Technician responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems in commercial buildings. Location On‑site work at customer locations across healthcare, process manufacturing, education, and office facilities. Responsibilities Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customers to understand installation and repair requirements. Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction. Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment using cutting‑edge software, tools, and blueprints. Apply knowledge of air‑conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts. Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as business requires. Maintain safety standards and record asset usage. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years HVAC experience preferred. Technical school or formal training preferred. Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers. Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with a clean record, no major traffic violations (e.g., DUI, license suspension). EPA Certification required. Compensation $25.70 - $47.35 hourly. Salary determined by seniority, merit, location, education, and experience.
