The Scripa Group is looking for a creative, organized, and motivated Digital Media Specialist/

Content Creator to help build and shape our growing real estate and media presence

throughout Central New York.

This position begins as a flexible part-time role of approximately 15–20 hours per week, with the

potential to grow into a full-time leadership opportunity as our media and marketing efforts

expand.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work directly with Joe and Alec Scripa, helping shape the public image of

The Scripa Group and Alec’s growing Mr. Syracuse brand.

Film (edit - TBD) engaging short- and long-form video content.

Create content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.

Help grow the Mr. Syracuse media presence.

Capture property tours, client stories, community events, and behind-the-scenes content.

Create graphics, reels, stories, promotional videos, and marketing materials.

Help manage and improve overall digital presence.

Create a consistent content calendar and help contribute to and develop content strategy.

Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach.

Stay current on emerging platforms, trends, and creative ideas.

Occasionally work evenings and weekends for events, property tours, and special projects.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone creative, self-motivated, organized, and comfortable taking initiative.

Experience with: Video editing using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.

Photography and videography using professional equipment and/or iPhone.

Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.

Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.

Content planning and social media strategy.

Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.

Bonus skills: Drone photography/FAA Part 107, real estate photography, WordPress, graphic

design, podcast production, motion graphics, copywriting, or storytelling.

Position Details

Hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week to start

Schedule: Flexible; occasional evenings and weekends

Location: Syracuse, NY - On-Site

Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications

Growth: Potential to develop into a full-time role with increasing responsibility and leadership of

our media and marketing efforts.
