Seeking BE/BC Da Vinci® Urologists in Upstate South Carolina

Our organization, a 356-bed tertiary care facility and regional health system, is on the lookout for a board eligible or board certified Urologist proficient in the Da Vinci Surgical System®. This position will complement our existing team of four urologists as we expand our urological services and aim to establish a regional center of excellence for robotic surgery within this specialty.

Currently, there are four urologists practicing in Greenwood, and there is a significant demand for additional specialists in the region. Our practice caters to a seven-county referral area with a population exceeding 250,000, making it the only full-time urological service within a sixty-mile radius. We benefit from a robust network of hospital-affiliated primary care providers who actively support our practice, alongside a diverse medical staff of over 250 professionals across various specialties, including cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, women's health, and orthopedics. Our facility boasts advanced imaging technologies such as X-Ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound, and we have recently added three new Da Vinci 5 systems. This role offers a competitive compensation package that includes a signing bonus, tuition assistance or residency stipend, relocation support, student loan assistance, a 403(b) retirement plan, and comprehensive medical and malpractice insurance.

We are a not-for-profit regional referral hospital dedicated to serving the residents of Greenwood, Abbeville, Laurens, Saluda, McCormick, Edgefield, and Newberry counties. Our services encompass prevention and wellness, acute care, and tertiary care, including cancer treatment, neurosurgery, heart and vascular surgery, NICU, orthopedics, and genetics. Our physician-led network, Self Medical Group, consists of over 40 practices and more than 150 physicians.
