About the Role:

The Fence Installer is responsible for helping build and repair fences by performing tasks such as loading materials, digging post holes, setting posts, attaching rails and pickets, and cleaning the job site. Installers must follow instructions from the Foreman or Crew Leader, work safely, use tools properly, and contribute to a smooth and efficient build process.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and install various types of fencing materials including wood, vinyl, and metal
• Assist the crew lead in preparing materials, tools, and site layout
• Dig post holes manually or with powered augers and set posts in concrete
• Cut and assemble fence materials accurately and efficiently    
• Operate hand tools and small power equipment safely
• Load and unload trucks before and after job completion
• Keep the job site clean and organized throughout the day    
• Always follow safety policies and guidelines      
• Communicate respectfully with team members and customers on-site    
• Support other crew members to ensure projects are completed on time        
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fencing installation or fabrication preferred.
• Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and techniques used in fencing projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed
• 1+ year of fence installation or construction experience
