Real Estate Associate Attorney

Job Description

The Real Estate Associate Attorney will focus on handling residential real estate transactions within a medium-sized legal team of 6-15 attorneys. This role emphasizes direct client engagement and primarily involves transactional work rather than court appearances. Proficiency with tools like LexisNexis, DocuSign, and Qualia will support effective transaction from start to close.

Responsibilities

Conduct heavy flow of real estate closings in Hartford, Middlesex, Tolland, Windham, New London, New Haven and Litchfield counties
Advise clients on residential real estate matters
Negotiate terms and conditions of real estate contracts
Review, draft, and manage transaction documents
Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth transaction processes
Maintain clear and timely client communication
Utilize LexisNexis, DocuSign, and Qualia for case and document management

Required Qualifications

Licensed to practice law in Connecticut

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in real estate law
Knowledge of real estate and contract law
Strong skills in legal research and negotiation
Proficient in document drafting and client communication
Exceptional attention to detail and time management
