Behavioral Health TechnicianTravel opportunity for a Behavioral Health Technician. Unit Information: Adult Behavioral Health. Number of Beds: 120. Number of Staff: 50. Day Shift RN and Mental Health Technicians. Night Shift RN and Mental Health Technicians. Patient Ratios: 1:8/9, estimated and never guaranteed. Type of Equipment: Vital Signs Machines, EMR system. Most recruited for: Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of current Behavioral Health Technician experience. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred candidates will have strong Behavioral Health inpatient experience and crisis management experience. Typical procedures performed: Patient observation and direct care support. Monitoring client behavior and providing treatment under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals. Best personality fit: Flexibility and willingness to handle patient acuity. Team player with compassion is a must.
