Emergency Room Nurse

An opportunity exists for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join a dynamic healthcare team. This role involves delivering high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

Shift: Evenings, from 3 PM to 3 AM

Weekly Hours: 36 hours.

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

Holiday Requirements: As needed

Job Responsibilities

Provide care for a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and elderly patients.

Assess patients' conditions, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.

Utilize Epic for documenting patient information and treatment plans.

Qualifications

Active Illinois nursing license

Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, NIH Stroke, PALS, and TNCC or TNS

Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience

Successful completion of an EKG test with a passing score of 80% or higher

Additional Information

This position primarily focuses on cardiac care, catering to an elderly population in a Level II facility that sees approximately 3,000 patients each month. Orientation will consist of 16 hours of non-billable time.
