Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Freedom Behavioral is providing services to Adult Male Psychiatric Patients and is seeking compassionate PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our growing team! As a valued member of our team, you will help deliver essential care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Position Details:

• Shift Availability: Day Shift (7 AM - 7 PM) & Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Status: FULL-TIME; PRN

Position Summary:
As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day care of patients, adhering to professional nursing standards while ensuring compliance with TJC, CMS, and state regulations. Key responsibilities include:

• Administering direct patient care within the scope of your LPN license
• Assisting with patient assessments and documenting findings accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitoring patient condition and promptly reporting any changes to the RN or medical staff
• Assisting with the completion of admission paperwork and ensuring documentation meets facility standards
• Adhering to infection control policies and procedures
• Participating in performance improvement initiatives and chart reviews
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to implement patient care plans and interventions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse program
• License: LPN License through the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
• Experience: At least one year of experience in mental health or psychiatric care preferred
