Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 20 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active license required Certifications: BLS ACLS NIH PALS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Float required as needed Description: ASAP Start Date is needed. The absolute latest date to start is 10/26 due to an event needed on the weekend of 10/30. This position has urgent needs and is allowed to start with compliance items pending. The nurse will work 4 shifts of 12 hours, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekends: at least 8 shifts per contract, and holidays may be needed. Minimum of 2 years of experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. The following certifications are required: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS. Experience in emergency care is required, including both adult and pediatric patients. Skills would include blood product administration, central line care and management, phlebotomy, and starting IVs. The nurse will perform continuous IV sedation, will manage IV vasopressors, and administer procedural sedation. Experience with CPAP/BiPAP devices and the interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and ventilated patients is necessary. Triage experience is essential. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:5.
