Physician CharterCARE of Rhode Island Providence, Rhode Island, United States About this position CharterCARE Medical Associates (CCMA), an affiliate of CharterCARE Health of RI (CHRI), is recruiting a full‑time employed Neurologist to join our well‑established program located in the heart of thriving Providence, Rhode Island. In this desirable faculty‑appointed position, you will work alongside an esteemed neurologist Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with time allocated to inpatient and outpatient hours. The physician will support Roger Williams Medical Center’s (RWMC) widely respected stroke program recognized by both the Joint Commission and the American Heart Association. You will also participate in the education of residents and share rotational call coverage, and you may be expected to participate in off‑hours inpatient call coverage should the need arise. We are looking for a physician who has a passion for teaching residents and places patient care at the forefront, with a driving desire to deliver quality and compassionate focused healthcare. The ideal candidate would primarily be interested in outpatient general neurology or neuromuscular disorders: EMG‑NCS training is strongly desired. RWMC is also a well‑respectful leader in academic research while precepting internal medicine students from Brown University and Boston University, with an exceptional transition rate from internal medicine to fellowship programs.

CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS

Medical degree (MD or DO) and residency trained in neurology (or soon eligible) Rhode Island licensed and Board Certified; federal DEA/RI controlled substance licensed (or soon eligible)
