Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Paragon is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - EKG/cardiac monitoring, respiratory assessment and support, and medication titration required.

Required Credentials: - Must have training in ACLS or some type of rhythm interpretation course. - If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Preferred Credentials: - BSN preferred.

Unit Details: - Patient ratios: 1:4 with 1:3 accommodations for acuity. - Patient population: geriatric and adult. - Common diagnosis/treatment: ETOH detox, post PCI, DKA/HHS, cardiac, GI, BIPAP.

Shift & Scheduling: - 2 weekend shifts required in a 2-week pay period. - On-call required.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
