Allied OneSource Education is actively seeking School Audiologists for multiple full-time school-based opportunities throughout Kansas City, Kansas for the 2026-2027 school year .
Position Overview
Position: School Audiologist
Location: Kansas City, KS
School Year: August 2026 - May 2027
Grade Levels: PreK-12
Employment Type: Full-Time | School-Year Contract
Key Responsibilities
As a School Audiologist, you will:
- Conduct audiological evaluations and hearing screenings for students
- Assess auditory functioning and interpret evaluation results
- Collaborate with IEP teams to determine appropriate accommodations and services
- Monitor and manage hearing assistive technology, including FM/DM systems and hearing devices
- Provide recommendations regarding classroom accommodations and hearing accessibility
- Consult with teachers, administrators, speech-language pathologists, and families regarding hearing-related needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school, state, and federal requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
- Support students' access to educational programming through effective hearing management strategies
Qualifications
- Active Kansas Audiology License required
- Eligibility for or possession of Kansas Department of Education credentials, if required
- Previous pediatric or school-based audiology experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide all required credentials and documentation prior to placement
