Job SummaryThe Manager of Product Management will contribute to brand product and pricing strategy, monitor sales and support merchandising in product decisions, and proof marketing materials. The Manager will oversee the jewelry new and existing assortment across all categories and will follow the product through the entire development process from the initial concept to launch.Want to apply Read all the information about this position below, then hit the apply button.Key Duties, Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesSupport the product development process from brief ideation to in-market performance, including product definition, forecasting, pricingPlan and execute the Product Launch Calendar: working closely with Marketing, Merchandise Planning, Design and Production team, scheduling launches for the full year with detailed execution timelines, price points, production forecastPrice new products, based on margin targets, production cost, product lineup, competitive landscapeProduce and analyze weekly and monthly reports to identify opportunities in new developments and action plansTranslate client and data insights into road maps that can generate a positive impact on the business.Complete ad hoc business analysis when needed with accompanying proposalsFacilitate competitor analysis- Analyze the current market, identifying gaps and needs as well as notable competitor price positioning to provide suggestions for new product launches and/or recommendation for current productsDirect and implement the annual competitor price review study with the objective of ensuring our pricing is inline and competitive. Prepare and present summaries of findings to upper management along with recommendations and opportunitiesManage, create, and update sales tools. Update the website with all new product and/or product changesLead the naming and trademarking of all new productsJob Qualifications5+ Years Jewelry Industry/Product Management ExperienceOverall knowledge/experience in the workings of retail business practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) with adaptability to new softwareStrong analytical skillsStrong teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional teamsProactive and takes the initiative to drive business and think outside of the boxAbility to also work independently and remain flexible with changing prioritiesDemonstrates excellent problem solving skills, adaptability/flexibility and initiativeAbility to think strategically, implement steps to achieve goalsExcellent organizational, communication and written skillsStrong teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional teamsGraduate Gemologist or Graduate Diamonds accreditation from GIA a plusLuxury jewelry experience highly desired
