This position is the frontline in customer interaction with the focus to establish a service that exemplifies the “Fair and Honest” treatment we offer. With Mule Mountain Pest Control, a technician will be expected to take on an entrepreneurship mentality to obtain and retain customers. The technician will need to demonstrate the ability and knowledge of using a wide range of chemicals for treatment along with additional services to aid in results.

Responsibilities  

·         Contributes to the positive work climate in the area of responsibility and to the overall team effort of the company

·         Monitors on-time pest control to achieve or exceed company standards

·         Participates in applicable federal, state and local industry-related meetings

·         Able to work independently

·         Assist on routes as needed by peers and management including weekends

·         Maintain service records in accordance with Pest Management Division and Department

of Agriculture standards

·         Retain and grow customer route level

·         Provide excellent customer service

·         Complete assigned education courses

·         Conduct services outside of normal route that may require working in attics and or under homes in crawl spaces

Education and Experience Requirements  

·         High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

·         Valid state driver’s license

·         Level 1 fingerprint clearance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·         Skill in organization and time management 

·         Skill in written and verbal communications

·         Skill in group presentations and meeting management 

·         Attention to detail and analytical skills 

·         Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals 

·         Skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) 

·         Knowledge of laws, regulations, methods, and techniques in area of specialty 

·         Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

·         Be able to go under house, climb in attic, and work on roof, as needed
