Position Overview Noblis MSD is hiring a Word Processor to support the US Navy at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI. The role involves producing standard documents, ensuring accuracy, gathering data, and reporting deviations. Remote/hybrid status is subject to change based on Noblis and/or government requirements. Responsibilities Producing a variety of standard documents including correspondence, form letters, reports, tables and other printed materials. Ensuring written documents are free from grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors. Gathering data from reference guides and equipment manuals. Reporting and seeking instruction on deviations from established procedures. Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year of administrative experience. US Citizen with a DoD Secret clearance or able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Experience in technical writing and documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and company software. Experience using NAVWAR software related procedures on submarines, surface, or shore installations. Experience with the NAVWAR System Operational Verification Test (SOVT) Preparation and Execution Guide (SPEG) instruction on submarines, surface, or shore installations. Desired Qualifications Prior work experience directly supporting NUWCDIVNPT Code 25 submarine Tactical Networks programs. Familiarity with CANES (AN/USQ-208), SubLAN (AN/USQ-177), ADNS, and Tactical Networks Next Generation (TN Next Gen) architectures and modernization roadmaps across SSN, SSBN, and SSGN platforms. Compensation & Benefits Posted Salary Range: USD $14.50 - USD $22.61 per hour.
