Engineer - Public Works

Responsibilities Assisting with project management duties Participate on a team of engineers and drafters working on infrastructure projects Perform engineering calculations, designs, cost estimates, and specifications Engage in planning and public meetings Prepare and participate in client presentations Assist in developing plans and reports; and Mentor and direct entry-level engineers and drafters Qualifications B.S. in Civil Engineering (M.S. is a strong plus) P.E. in Texas (DOT & municipal experience a plus) 4+ years of experience in engineering design Excellent skill in use of current versions of Microstation and/or AutoCAD Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) skill Sound technical design background Excellent verbal and written communication skills Great client service capability is a must, as are technical specializations and proactivity Walter P Moore is an equal employment opportunity employer, and provides equal employment opportunities (including offering competitive compensation and benefit packages) to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to any characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
