Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy, Certification as a Music Therapist – Board Certified (MT-BC) and 1+ years Music Therapist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a compassionate and creative School Music Therapist for an onsite, school-based contract position with Frederick County Public Schools in Maryland. Responsibilities

• Provide music therapy services to students based on individualized needs and goals
• Develop and implement therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals
• Use music-based interventions to support communication, behavior, and social-emotional growth
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt strategies to support student engagement across various school settings

Qualifications

• Valid Maryland Music Therapy License (Required)
• Degree in Music Therapy or related field (Required)
• Passion for supporting students through creative and therapeutic approaches
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Must be available to work onsite
