Senior AI Project Manager

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior AI Project Manager

Position type: Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location:- 3 days onsite role at Charlotte, NC

As a Senior AI Project Manager, you will:
Required Qualifications
Experience and managing Agile delivery for AI projects.
Experience in managed AI solutions using Microsoft ecosystem.
Leadership & Program Management Skills
• Strong executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop strategic roadmaps, manage program budgets, prioritize investments, and align AI initiatives with business objectives.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, consulting partners, and enterprise technology programs.
• Proven ability to identify, track, and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and delivery issues.
Agile Leadership Responsibilities
• Lead Agile project planning, estimation, release management, and roadmap execution.
• Establish and drive Agile best practices across AI engineering and product teams.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize product backlogs aligned with business value and strategic objectives.
• Facilitate release planning, PI planning, sprint planning, and quarterly roadmap reviews.
• Monitor sprint health, team velocity, burn-down metrics, and delivery predictability.
• Remove organizational impediments and escalate risks to leadership when necessary.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through retrospectives and lessons learned.

Scrum Master Responsibilities
• Facilitate:
• Sprint Planning
• Daily Stand-Ups
• Sprint Reviews
• Sprint Retrospectives
• Backlog Refinement Sessions
• Coach teams on Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile practices.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to Definition of Ready (DoR), Definition of Done (DoD), and quality standards.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple delivery teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Track and communicate sprint progress, risks, blockers, and release readiness to leadership.
• Support Agile metrics reporting and executive dashboards.
Experience leading cross-functional teams consisting of AI engineers, data scientists, architects, software developers, business analysts, and product owners.
Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects with significant business and technical complexity.

Desired Qualifications
Experience working in an Agile development methodology; experience with RAG and LLM

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $60- $62 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
