Are you a recent college graduate looking to start your career in Human Resources or ready to grow your career in Human Resources? Join our team as a Benefits Specialist, where you'll deliver outstanding customer service and support to a broad range of employee and retiree groups in the main areas of health, retirement, life insurance, disability leave management and other benefits. You will work and use multiple methods of communication to resolve issues and inquiries with accuracy, sensitivity, and compassion.

Reporting directly to the Benefits Service Center Team Lead, you will work a hybrid schedule from our Pittsburgh, PA headquarters.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support all benefit inquiries from participants with an important focus on delivering exceptional employee experience
• Guide concerns or inquiries between employees/retirees and vendors
• Support the US Benefits Service Center by documenting inquiries and resolutions within the case management system and responding to email requests
• Perform multiple administrative tasks including the distribution of materials, enrollment administration, data integrity reconciliation and report processing
• Handle the enrollment processes for all participants including guiding with selections and educating on any changes
• Be a point of contact for the vendor team managing the incoming calls
• Help maintain company compliance with ERISA, COBRA and HIPAA; and any other department projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business required
• Experience working with computer systems such as Microsoft and Workday.
• 0-2 years of professional experience in Human Resources or Benefits Administrations preferred; internship experience will be accepted in lieu of full-time experience
