Job Description:

Seeking an RN for the Med Surg unit to join a dynamic team on the 4th Floor North & South with a focus on Med Tele / Ortho care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care in a 55-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6.
• Manage common diagnoses such as joint replacements, fractures, and COPD exacerbations.
• Titrate medication drips including Heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine.
• Work collaboratively in a unit with tele techs for interpretive assistance.
• Meet floating requirements to other medical surgical areas as needed.

Requirements:

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Adherence to a strict radius rule of 50 miles.
• BSN required; driver's license necessary for candidate verification.
• Compliance with facility fingernail policy and successful completion of orientation exams.
