Compensation Hourly Wage Estimate: $43.57 - $62.29 per hour. Job Summary The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high quality, patient‑centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit during the assigned shift. The CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource for staff, and upholds the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an exceptional patient experience and clinical outcomes. Responsibilities Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high‑quality, patient‑centered care. Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality in collaboration with management. Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes. Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary. Operationalize nursing strategies such as employee and hourly rounds to improve patient engagement. Recommend and implement actions related to hiring, training, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient‑care needs and productivity guidelines. Maintain inventory control and manage supplies and equipment. Perform delegated duties consistent with scope of practice and overall care plan. Qualifications Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or active multi‑state nursing licensure. Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of employment start date. Minimum of 2 years of clinical RN experience; supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Ability to perform direct patient care and charge nurse responsibilities. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Experience in counseling and guiding personnel. Leadership ability with health teams in planning and delivering patient care. Competence with patient care information systems. Strong planning, analytical, and written skills. Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, and word processing for analysis of statistical reports. Ability to educate, coach, and mentor staff using adult learning principles.
