About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Science and AI to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or computer science with a strong scientific focus, and at least 7 years of experience in strategic sales, business development, or executive-level consulting within the life sciences industry. This role is pivotal in bridging executive scientific advisory with scalable technical implementation, serving as a primary, trusted advisor to senior leadership at the company's most strategic enterprise accounts. The VP will be responsible for aligning the company's platform with the business objectives and scientific goals of these accounts, as well as identifying and capturing upsell opportunities. Key responsibilities include formulating the strategy for scientific content reuse, leading a team of scientists and developers, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to evangelize the company's solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic account management, team leadership, and content development and architecture strategy. They should be highly organized, resourceful, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong fit for the role will also have exceptional customer relationships, innovative content engineering, and experience in a rapidly growing startup or scale-up environment.
