Description Welder/Mechanical Technician We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder/Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. • Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding to fabricate and repair metal components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with safety standards and technical requirements.
• Conduct inspections and tests on welded and mechanical parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in welding and mechanical systems, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to welding and mechanical work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and operate equipment.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS welding certification or equivalent are preferred.

Requirements Joining of shaft extensions, flanges, brackets, and fittings, on hydraulic shafts, barrels, guide bars. Using the following: 1/16" & .045" Diameter FCAW, GMAW. Assist in assembling Hydraulic cylinders. Other operations could include polishing, milling and drilling, of parts. Fabricating of metal structures, Tanks, Tables, tool holders, shipping crates. Canidate will be required to pass AWS/ASME type certifications. Use of large overhead cranes will be required. Use of weld positioners, shaft welders, and set up tables.
