Brickworks Supply has an immediate opening for a dependable Yard Worker at our Ft. Wayne, IN Supply Center.The yard worker is responsible for month end physical inventories as well as the loading and unloading of inbound/outbound orders.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate powered industrial equipment in a safe and efficient mannerAssist with month-end physical inventories, and resolve any discrepanciesLoading and unloading inbound and outbound ordersOther duties as assigned as neededGood housekeeping skills.Essential Skills and Capabilities:Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and customer service orientedGood organizational, math, computer and clerical skillsAbility to operate heavy yard equipment in a safe and effective mannerSelf-motivated and able to work effectively without close supervisionKnowledge of building products, proper storage, safe handling and transportation methods preferredSafety consciousAble to lift up to 120 poundsQualifications:High school diploma, GED or Technical TradeOne to two years of material handling and/or delivery experience in the building products industry preferredKnowledge of masonry and building products preferredCompetitive wages and comprehensive benefits provided including medical, dental, life and disability insurance and 401(k) plan.This job description is not intended to be all inclusive and as such, the employee will also be required to perform other reasonably related business duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or other management personnel as required.Equal Opportunity Employer
