Physical Therapist

Location: Highlands, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Description: Join a dedicated team focused on providing exceptional care in a community hospital setting. The Physical Therapist will work in both acute and rehabilitation environments, providing evaluations and establishing plans of care for patients. The role includes frequent communication with the rehab team regarding patient progress and discharge needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and establish personalized plans of care.
• Assist with rounds and care conferences as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the rehab team on patient progress and equipment needs.
• Provide treatment in various settings including patient rooms, hallways, outdoor areas, and rehab gym.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in North Carolina.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a medical setting is preferred.
