Warehouse Attendant

Wage: $18 - $19 per hour

Hours: Tues - Sat 2PM to 11PM

Warehouse Location: Lincolnwood, IL

Job Summary

As a FFT Warehouse Attendant, you will work effectively and efficiently alongside members of the Warehouse, Kitchen and Sales teams. You will perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, receiving and storing products, maintaining inventory records, loading and unloading trucks, organizing and processing returns of unused products into current inventory.

Responsibilities

• Preparing orders for delivery while ensuring accuracy
• Ensuring that all necessary equipment is in good working condition at all times
• Ensuring proper storage conditions and keeping the warehouse clean and organized
• Moving vehicles (including reversing into dock) proficiently and safely
• Maintaining cleanliness of all vehicles
• Assisting in producing accurate month-end inventory
• Ensures all product and equipment are accounted for and loaded before delivery departure
• Performs opening and closing tasks
• Participates in warehouse/office/kitchen cleaning projects as needed
• Performing other duties as requested, such as cross-training, moving supplies and equipment, cleaning up spills, etc.

Required Qualifications

• Warehouse experience
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and DOT check
• High attention to detail to identify potential errors and rectify immediately
• Positive work attitude, self-confidence and a high level of energy
• Working knowledge of order processing, loading procedures, and stacking techniques
• Working knowledge of accepted safety and sanitation procedures
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs
• Ability to stand and work continuously
• Works with speed, consistency and organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Food Service and/or Customer Service (highly valued).
