If you want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.Job SummaryThe Neurodiagnostic Technologist I prepares patients for various neurodiagnostic procedures. This position collects patient information pertinent to the interpretation of the tests and determines proper procedures for testing. The position performs age-appropriate activities and utilizes a variety of neurodiagnostic equipment such as electroencephalograms (EEG).Key Responsibilities:Attach electrodes to patients using adhesives and ensure proper placement.Conduct tests such as electroencephalograms (EEG), evoked potentials (EP), and nerve conduction studies (NCS).Monitor patients during tests, ensuring their comfort and safety.Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as needed.Collect and summarize technical data for physician review.Explain testing procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Assist in training new technicians and other staff members.Qualifications:HS Diploma or GED required1+ years of Allied Healthcare or related experienceCore CompetenciesThese competencies reflect the values and behaviors expected of all Grady team members, regardless of role.
