Exciting Opportunity for a Night Shift Registered Nurse!

Job Description:


- Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse providing exceptional care to patients during 12-hour night shifts.
- Utilize your Med Surg and Pediatric expertise while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create outstanding patient outcomes.
- Regularly assess patient needs and deliver skilled nursing services aligned with physician plans of care.
- Provide direct patient care, including:
- Medication administration
- Treatments
- Patient education
- Assistance with transfers
- Timely response to call lights and alarms
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and work collaboratively on updates to enhance patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and hospital policies.
- Lead and mentor support staff while playing a pivotal team member role.

Requirements:


- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience - [required]
- Pediatric experience - [required]
- Epic experience - [highly preferred]
- Active Michigan/MI License (LARA and/or Nursys) - [required]
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from American Heart Association - [required]
- Submission of:
- Skills checklist (current to 1 year, pertinent to Med Surg) - [required]
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms (completed within the last two years) - [required]
