Description American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring an active Oregon RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Details Provide direct, individualized nursing care to adult pre- and post-surgical patients in the Intensive Care Unit Night shift schedule with 3 shifts per week at 12 hours per shift Initiate computerized Plan of Care upon patient admission Agency nurses may be floated to other qualified departments before core staff are floated Requirements Active RN license in the State of Oregon required Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing BSN or MSN preferred Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred CMSRN certification preferred CRASE training required if assignment extends beyond 6 months Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and assist with transferring patients over 100 lbs using proper techniques or team assistance Continuous walking and standing throughout shift with occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching Additional Information Assess patient conditions, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response Provide age-specific, culturally sensitive, and psychosocially aware patient care Work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with frequent exposure to infectious materials and emergency situations Participate in required education for DNV programs as applicable to the position Support hospital mission, vision, values, and policies in daily activities These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
