Batcher I - Tucson, AZThe Batcher is responsible for preparing and mixing appropriate ingredients required to produce finished syrup for KDP's line of beverages while maintaining KDP's high standards in safety and quality. This role will also be engaged in complying with and understanding the manufacturing processes to lead in the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, productivity and growth.Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position working 2nd shift Monday - Friday from 1:30pm to 10:00pm. Opportunities to work 3rd shift may also be available. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.Position Responsibilities:Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors alwaysUnderstand and help drive improvements to quality systems and policies (Quality Data System, Safe Quality Food, Good Manufacturing Practices. and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)Collaborate with production team members to maintain continuous flow of syrup to the linesMix and blend ingredients to create various batches. Learn to safely and efficiently operate batching equipment including set up, operation, and sanitizationEnsure food safety through quality checks and accurate record keepingInventory and control ingredients and receive sugarGenerate productivity and continuous improvement ideasDemonstrate KDP values of Team First, Deliver Big, Think Bold, Being Fearless and FairTotal Rewards: Pay starting at $22.50 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $23.63 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.
