Mammography Technologist, Per Diem

AMI is seeking per diem Mammography Technologists to join the teams in the Vineland and Mullica Hill region of offices! This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient radiology practice.AMI offers the 401K retirement benefit to Per Diem employees. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience.The Mammography Technologist is responsible for but not limited to:Performs mammography examinations according to the technical standards established by the radiology departmentUtilizes instructional information and methods as established by the management.According to office policy, provides for the safety, health and well-being of all patients, visitors and co-workers. Becomes familiar with and ready to respond to emergency codes and life safety practices as established by the Practice.Performs all other related duties as assigned to ensure that optimum radiologic care, efficient and orderly flow of patients and safe, expedient office operation occurs daily.Provides informal supervision and instructional advice to non-technical personnel assigned to the work area.Utilizes all departmental clerical equipment including computerized information system, copy machines, etc., to ensure that all required office record keeping and documentation is accurate, timely and accessible.This per diem position will provide coverage in the AMI @ Inspira offices in the Vineland and Mullica Hill region of offices. Shift opportunities are available Monday-Friday between the hours of 7am-7:30pm and Saturdays 8am-12pm. Scheduling is based on employee availability and department needs.Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and are registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with Mammography certification. Candidates must have a current and valid Radiologic Technologist license in the State of NJ. American Heart Association or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification (hands-on instruction) is required prior to start of employment. Must have full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection.
